Trump Says Bill Clinton is a Rapist
Editorial aside: I am a huge fan of Bill Cosby. In recent years, the beloved comedian and outspoken advocate for improvements in black education has been under massive attack for supposedly raping women in his past. Most of them say they were enamored with his prestige and power, and somehow allowed him to rape them and never tell anyone until today. It’s been widely known that President Bill Clinton got lots of sex from women exactly the same way, starting at least as early as when he was the governor of Arkansas. If Cosby can be accused and prosecuted for rape for all those “prestige trysts,” as it were, why can’t Clinton?
Donald Trump agrees.
Last night on Sean Hannity’s show, Trump flat out accused Clinton of being a rapist, for the sheer number of women he’s slept with, many of whom feel traumatized by the event.
From the interview:
TRUMP: — how do you compare that against Clinton, OK, what Clinton has done?
HANNITY: What about what Clinton has done? How big an issue should that be in the campaign?
HANNITY: For example, I looked at “The New York Times.” Are they going to interview Juanita Broderick? Are they going to interview Paula Jones? Are they going to interview Kathleen Willey? In one case, it’s about exposure. In another case, it’s about groping and fondling and touching against a woman’s will.
TRUMP: And rape.
HANNITY: And rape.
TRUMP: And big settlements, massive settlements.
HANNITY: Eight hundred and fifty thousand (INAUDIBLE)…
TRUMP: And lots of other things. And impeachment for lying.
TRUMP: And losing your law license. You know, he lost his law license, OK. He couldn’t practice law. And you don’t read about this on Clinton. I mean now…
Hannity and Trump went over point by point all of the ways the New York Times article misportrayed Trump and his relationship with women. You can watch the entire exchange HERE:
