Donald Trump Lifts SNL to Highest Ratings in Years

Nine million people watched Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live last night. According to Nielsen, the show was up 57% from the season average, and up 53% from the same weekend last year. In Nielsen’s 25 markets with Local People Meters, “SNL” averaged a 2.7 rating/10 share — the show’s best since Feb. 1, 2014 with Melissa McCarthy and Imagine Dragons.

Fox has brought record ratings everywhere he’s gone, giving ratings spikes for NBC’s Meet the Press, Fox’s Hannity, and CBS’ Late Show with Stephen Colbert. To help with the “Equal Time” laws, SNL kept the GOP front-runner’s screen time to a minimum. According to a Variety analysis, Trump appeared onscreen last night for just 12 minutes, or less than half the time as Amy Schumer when she hosted the show last month.

  1. Loved Trump/not being prejudice, he was the only entertaining part of show, rest just OK, loved IVANKA!
They are BOTH very special🙏🏻Didn’t show Mr. Trump very much! Didn’t like the singer/to weird for me.
Once would have been enough! NBC knew all Mr. trumps supporters would be watching, they only made things worse by not having him on more! Also, two girls talking dirty is an example of why I don’t watch shows on NBC, like a lot of other channels!

  2. LOVE Trump! He just gets right in there and kicks backsides! I am so tired of the PC environment in America I could throw up. We need someone strong who can’t be bought or blackmailed to be our leader. GO TRUMP!
